An exciting position has arisen for a Manager based at the Hull Play Resource Centre.
The Hull Play Resource Centre (ScrapStore) is a registered charity that has been operating in the HU3 area of Hull since 1988. The organisation provides and promotes creative art and play with children and young people in Hull and the surrounding areas. ScrapStore collects clean waste materials from local businesses and provides an environmental resource centre, a craft retail facility and an outreach provision to education establishments and community groups. The organisation has recently seen a substantial increase of its profile being raised within the city and serves as a community hub with large cross-generational appeal.
The charity is currently seeking an individual with experience of operational, strategic and financial management of an organisation within the creative, business or voluntary sector. The applicant will possess excellent leadership skills to manage a team and lead on resource development, fundraising, partnership development, engagement and marketing, operational duties and building and project management.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Accountable to: Hull Play Resource Centre Management Committee
Pay: £27924 – £30178 p.a. subject to skills and experience.
Other: Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) enhanced with barred list check. Two satisfactory references and evidence must be provided of a right to work in the United Kingdom.
